शैला शर्मा  
श्रीमती शैला शर्मा का नाम राजस्थान की प्रमुख महिला कलाकारों में शामिल है। इनकी कूचि से निकले अघ्यात्मिकता के रंग राजस्थान व देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों के साथ विदेश में भी अपनी चमक बिखेर रहे हैं। बालपन से ही कला के प्रति रुझान रखने वाली शैला के अभिावक उन्हें डॉक्टर या इंजीनियर के रूप में देखना चाहते थे इसलिए पहले बैचलर डिग्री साईंस में हासिल की। शायद कुदरत भी इन्हें कलाकार के रूप में ही देखना चाहती थीं, एमबीबीएस में चयन हुआ लेकिन पैर में फे्रकचर के चलते मेडिकल कॉलेज ज्वाइन नहीं कर पाईं। कला के प्रति दीवानगी ने वनस्थली विद्यापीठ से ड्राईंग व पेंटिंग में पुन: स्नातक डिग्री लेने के लिए बाध्य किया। पश्चात डीएवी अजमेर से ड्राईंग व पेंटिंग में एमए किया।
महाराष्ट्र के प्रकृति स्थल लोनावाला में जन्मी शैला की कर्मस्थली पहले अजमेर फिर जयपुर रही। कलाकार बनने की प्रेरणा अपने फूफा से मिली जिनका अजमेर में स्टूडियो था और कला जगत आज भी उन्हें प्रकाश आर्टिस्ट के नााम से याद करता है। ऑयल व एक्रेलिक इनकी पेंटिंग के माध्यम हैं। कई वर्षोंं तक एब्स्ट्रेक्ट फार्म में काम करने के बाद अब फिगरेटिव पर कूचि चला रही हैं। इनका स्वपन हैं कोर्स में पढ़ी गई अजन्ता-एलोरा के गुफा चित्रण का समीप से अनुभव करना और इटली भ्रमण कर रेनांसा काल की कृतियों को प्रत्यक्ष देखना। कला साधना के साथ वर्तमान में शैला राजस्थान सरकार के कृषि विभाग में वीडियो एडीटर के रूप में अपनी सेवाएं दे रही हैं।

 A Personal  Training Programmes

1.         Basic course on Multi-Media on  the  Macintosh Quadra - 700 covering Adobe  Photoshop,  Aldus Freehand,  Macromind  Director,  Aldus  Persuation, Mirus  Film  Printer, Adobe premere and Nu-vista +  in  the year 1992.

2.                    Advance course on  Multi-Media on  having one and a half  years experience  in  MultiMedia Production covering Adobe Photoshop, Aldus Freehand, Macromind  Director, Aldus Persuation, Mirus Film Printer  &  Nu-vista +  in  the year 1993.

3.         Basic course in Video Film Production covering script writing, pre production, production, & editing etc  in  the year 1998.

4.         Advance course in Video Film Production in Editing using AVID, FCP ect. from National Institute of Design, Ahamadabad in  the year 1998 and 1999.

B -       Information - Communication

Between  1993-99   as  an artist associated  with   the  State  Information  Division  of  the  Department  of  Agriculture  and  has  acquired  proficiency in information -communication media activities 

viz.  Poster , pamphlets, charts, Panals designing, Script writing on agrl. & allied  subjects ; editing of   scripts   for   technical   presentations,  preparation  of writeups  for  different  visual  aids  ;  planning  & layout  of Exhibitions; Slide presentations, multimedia presentations  etc.

C -       Video Film Production

Acquired  specialisation in Video Production Technology under the technical assistance of  National Institute of Design, Ahamadabad  in  1999.  As  Editor [Video]  in  the  State  Information  Division of  the             Department  of  Agriculture  and  its  affiliated  institution  CENTRE FOR  AGRO-COMMUNICATION, produced   over  852 Slide Presentations  & 200 professional  grade  educational  &  documentary  films  on  agriculture  and  allied

            Since Feb., 2003, has been producing  a  programme  entitled ‘ ANKUR ‘  then “NAVANKUR, now “Kheti-Bari” which is being  telecast from  Doordarshan  on every  thursday.  It  is  worth mentioning  that   “Kheti-Bari”   is  the one and  only programme  in  the country, which  is  being  produced  in -house by a  Govt. Deptt. and  652 episodes of the programme being  telecast  under  sponsor  category till today

D-        Multi-Media

            Consequent to the introduction of Apple Macintosh Computer configuration, acquired expertise in  computer  animation, graphic creation and  slide making.  Produced   a  number  of  animation clips  & Quilkeis, Add Films for   video,  dozens   of   slide  presentations,  camera -ready    graphic   and   art   work  along with  treatment  of  video graphics, image  capturing & scanning.

Work Recognition & Commendation

            The  slide presentation  displayed on  IGNP  scenerio before the President of the  World Bank Mr. Lewis T. Priston was considered a great success. Slide Presentations exclusively prepared showcasing industrial landscape of the State, strived dazzle at various places abroad and were appreciated by international press also.

            Interactive multi-media prepared on Pest & Diseases of Mustard  was also widely appreciated in National Workshop on Media Support  to Agriculture. It was considered a pioneer attempt made  in-house to prepare multi -media in Govt. sector in the country.
